E to O.jpg

This year, we had Admiral Philip Sobeck, prior enlisted Machinist Mate and the Commander of Expeditionary Strike Group Three along with new Officers came together to share their most crucial advice for Sailors pursuing a pathway to a Commission.

1300: Via Zoom, and the NNOA Youtube Channel the brief covered all the programs to become an Officer, recent updates, changes and lessons learned from Officers who've going through OCS, STA-21, LDO/CWO, and DCO. The Admiral wrapped up our brief by discussing the importance of mentorship, networking.

1400: We split into break-out sessions where Naval Officers and Mustangs answered specific questions for the different Commissioning Programs.

1430: Lastly, we'll switched over to new Break-out Zoom sessions with a new set of Officers to cover designator/community-based discussions.
