During his 30-year Naval career, Captain Cromartie served in numerous challenging and rewarding operational and staff positions. He accumulated more than 2,500 flight hours and 300 carrier arrested landings in the F-14 Tomcat. Significant leadership assignments included Commander, Navy Region Southwest Reserve Component Command; Commanding Officer, Naval Air Facility Washington DC; and Director positions on several major Navy and Joint Service staffs in Washington, DC. Captain Cromartie retired from Naval service in January 2014 and currently is employed as the Director, General Services at the Port of San Diego.
He began preparing for his career after the Navy very early in his career and will share what every Sailor needs to know that will pay significant dividends when taking off their uniform for the last time.
